New Year, New Addition
We do hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2018! However, we do know that this isn’t the case for everyone. Christmas is always a time when maybe we should think a little more about those less unfortunate than ourselves. You don’t have to look very hard to find a charity trying to persuade you into parting with your hard earned money. How do you decide which to support? Maybe one with a cause that’s close to home? Or maybe you’re one of those people who puts their spare change in whatever charity box is next to the checkout.
December for us this year has been a very charitable one. We’re not looking for applause or well done’s! We have supported four different, but equally important, charities. An 18 mile walk for Walking with The Wounded, a donation of £150 from photo sales for The East Anglian Air Ambulance, two nights dressed as Santa raising £600 for local Charities with Harleston Round Table, and a donation to The Midwifery Led Birthing Unit at The Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital organised by The Orange Grove Yoga Bubs Christmas Party.
All of these events, in their different ways, were actually great fun! The sums of money were relatively easily achieved. Thus making us wonder – if we have indirectly been involved in raising over £1000 for charity, maybe we could all make an effort. Even just once a year what a difference that could make to someone.
This year The Norfolk Bump & Beyond Baby and Toddler Fair‘s chosen Charity is The Benjamin Foundation. Therefore, we will be raising money and supporting them at The Norfolk Bump & Beyond Baby and Toddler Fair, which is now just three months away on Sunday 25th March at The Norfolk Showground Arena!
Speaking of Bumps, we are excited to announce our own little Bump due in the summer! New Year, New addition for MJR Events.
Busy times ahead!
